Mother's Day is May 14th and many of us may live far away from home and our mothers who spent so many years raising us and teaching us how to be self-sufficient and survive in this world on our own. It is only as we get older and have children of our own that we begin to appreciate and comprehend the enormity of a mother's sacrifices and love.

We will expertly pack it with TLC so that it arrives safe and sound for Mother's Day. And we'll help you choose the best shipping option to get it there on time for Mother's Day. Mom will appreciate your thoughtfulness.

Moms

Did you know there are an estimated 85.4 million mothers in the United States and about 2 billion moms in the world?
One more thing about moms from our neighbors up north. In Canada, working moms take a year leave and receive 55% of their salary during the first year after having a baby. They are also entitled to the same job or a comparable one when their leave is over.

Cinco de Mayo

The phrase is Spanish for "Fifth of May." The date was originally a celebration to mark the Mexican Army's unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, under the leadership of General Ignacio Zaragoza. In Mexico, this date is mostly ceremonial and commemorated through military parades.
In the US, the Cinco de Mayo celebration is broader and celebrates the overall Mexican-American culture, hence all the fun!

Memorial Day

Originally, Memorial Day honored military personnel who died in the Civil War, during which about 620,000 Americans died, making it the deadliest war in American history.
In all other conflicts combined, at least 1,266,304 people have died fighting for America. The Civil War makes up half of that number because everyone who died was an American.
